My name is Leslie D. Martin and I am a web coder in search of a full-time coding position or for hire. I am an amateur photographer and part-time baseball fan; I am also a music nut as well as having a number of other interests. The purpose of this site is to introduce myself to you, to let you know a bit more about me and to present a sample some of the work I can do.

This site design is divided into three major areas: the main area where you are currently is where I provide some personal information about myself, including my background, education and interests; a personal blog where I present some of my personal thoughts on a variety of subjects of personal interest; a development blog where I present some of my thoughts and observations on website development and internet related issues, as well as provide commentary on my current development projects. To navigate between the various major area of the site, select an area from the navigation menu near the top of the page. To navigate within each area, select from the pages in the navigation menu to the side.

In addition to providing three distinct areas of interest, the segmentation of the site also allows me to present three distinct areas of design methodology. The primary area (the area in which you are currently located) is hand coded; the personal blog is being built using WordPress; the development blog is being built using Drupal. However, since the complete site is a work in process neither all the component's nor all the area's may be functional at any given time. Or they may be functional but in a default configuration. One of the things I will be doing is annotating the current state of the particular project, indicating the ultimate goal, the completed work, the in-progress work, and the planned but not yet begun work.

Please feel free to contact me with comments, suggestions, or regarding work you may have available. In addition to the more personal information I offer on this website I also have an Adobe Acrobat PDF version of my professional résumé available for download.
